LoSo Prep™ |
|
LoSo Prep (E-Z-EM Cat. #3076) contains
a foil pouch with magnesium carbonate, citric acid and potassium
citrate powder for oral solution. These contents create a saline
laxative used as part of a bowel cleansing system in preparing
patients for surgery, or for preparing the colon for X-ray or endoscopic
examination.
Saline laxatives are regulated by the FDA under the OTC Laxative Monograph.
To comply with the magnesium citrate ranges stated in this monograph, E-Z-EM
is increasing the contents of our LoSo Prep Bowel Cleansing System's magnesium
citrate dosage by 10%. |
| What will change? |
| |
 |
Net Dry Weight in the foil
pouch will increase from 34 grams to 37.9 grams of magnesium

 |

solution dosage will increase from 16.4 grams to 18.0 grams. |
